When people believe they look undesirable and want to enhance how people perceive their general appearance, it has been shown that they usually consider going under the knife. This is primarily the reason why bodily enhancements today are now becoming as cheap and ubiquitous as buying a new model of car. Among all these enhancements available in the market, a simple procedure of removing facial creases and wrinkle lines to make the face look younger has become one of the most popular in the market.

This surgical procedure that may be the nearest thing to the fountain of youth we can have is the innovation called botulinum toxin or simply BOTOX® . Primarily used to remove wrinkle lines, botox is a “purified protein administered in a simple, non-surgical procedure that temporarily improves the appearance of moderate to severe frown lines between the brows, on the forehead or for crows feet around the eyes in people of at least 18 years of age, a well-acclaimed BOTOX® center in the market said.

For those of you who think this procedure may not be a trusted method in achieving the closest thing to perfect youth, you better think twice since, according to a report, this Botox treatment may be the most convenient and efficient way you got in the US market. Moreover, it has become so popular in the United States, it ranks second only to chemical astringents among different beauty procedures requested by patients, according to a famous beauty journalist. This can also be contributed to the fact that it is one of the most efficient nonsurgical, safe and precise methods in facial enhancement. No wonder many people are easily convinced nowadays to try it someday.

How Long Does BOTOX® Last?

The effective and long-time visible results Botox provides to the patients also contributes to its almost impossibly odd popularity among the US population. This is probably because BOTOX® has been used already therapeutically for over 15 years and is approved in more than 75 countries, not excluding those conservative places that would usually disapprove of BOTOX® treatment or any facial enhancement for that matter.

How Does It Feel?

Most hesitant people who think any facial enhancement is a danger to one own’s body should always reconsider their assumptions about Botox. One reason being for this rethinking is that not only are the perceived complications about Botox not really significantly affecting any part of the body, they are also considered the mildest forms of any side-effects any type of bodily procedure may have. In fact, an instruction given by one of the most popular agencies of Botox in the market explained that this procedure is a simple, 10-minute treatment consisting only of a few tiny injections and after this time period, the patient may now resume normal activity immediately.A favorite amongst celebrities and women in their 30’s it would be enough to say that this procedure is a recommended facial enhancement to those who would go ones own way to look good but will not entertain cosmetic surgery or extreme facial sculpting.

This burden done on these people, however, does not automatically translate to people buying or feeling obligated to purchase health and beauty products that do nothing but artificially cover up their feeling of not being too good-looking.

As a result, Americans, along with the majority of people across the globe, feel that buying beauty products does not really contribute to their need of feeling beautiful and attractive.

This, however, “doesnt necessarily mean that consumers are compelled to spend more on beauty products and treatments. It seems the older you get, the less you spend, as teens and consumers in their 20s spend more in this category, said Shuchi Sethi, VP of Nielsen Research Team.

Along with many of the obvious products that most Americans cannot bring themselves to buy, the Nielsen research was able to also find out that:

Less than a quarter of US consumers (23%) agree that they spend more on beauty products and treatments. On a global scale, 30% of consumers agreed they spend more than they used to.

When consumers do invest their personal grooming dollars, US respondents reported spending the most on hair care (81%), skincare regimes (61%) and facial treatments (47%).

The fewest US dollars go to hair removal (21%), tanning (23%) and eyebrow/eyelash tinting and shaping (29%).

If money were no object, US consumers would spend the most on body massages, teeth whitening, hair care, facial treatments and manicures/pedicures.

The reasons identified by the Nielsen team why these products do not appeal too much to American buyers mainly suggest that personal grooming is the best way to maintain good idea of beauty and it will actually yield better self-esteem results than buying beauty products from the market that not only cost much, but also sometimes a bit more hazardous to one’s health.

This finding does not, however, suggest that more and more people are ignoring the effective use of alternative products to maintaining that ideal beauty that most people aspire to become.

When people think about beauty, the last thing they can ever think about is hygiene. However, if you do a search for best looking people, what you are usually directed to are popular blogs like those from The New York Times and The Newsweek Magazine Health Section highlighting the fact that most beautiful people are considered to be the most well-groomed and neat men and women you will ever see. This is something that comes as no surprise, since most of the popular men and women are people that the general public adores and these folks are generally neat and good-looking. Rarely do you see some good-looking person that is not well-maintained in his or her personal grooming and hygiene.

Think of famous people in the field of showbiz, for example. Most celebrities do not look the way they do today without a little help. It could sometimes be because they have the income to maintain the most expensive ingredients in beauty products and always maintain very decent beauty regimens throughout their life. The survey recently conducted by Synovate could not agree more.According to the recently released report by Synovate, the most handsome men across the globe are usually either very neat people who do so much to maintain good hygiene regimen or those men who prioritize trying to maintain cleanliness more than any means of looking great. In the aspect of maintaining great cleaning regiments, it has also been shown in the survey that the top-three most-acquired grooming items by most of the men in all different markets are:

Deodorant

Whitening toothpaste

Cologne or after-shave

Of course, these products are not the main factors that make these men beautiful but if we want to know more about how grooming maintains the general opinion of people about beauty, there could be nothing more ideal than to discuss such things.ÂÂ

To paraphrase the survey results, here are the findings of Synovate on the products used by most men in maintaining good hygiene:

More than a majority of US consumers are driven by the pursuit of the ‘Hollywood smile,’ Synovate said.Overall, 56% of male respondents, mostly composed of US consumers, use grooming products specifically designed or marketed to men.

More than a majority of men also tend to think more difficult and stereotypical things – such as muscles and dressing well – were more important than hygiene.

Clearly, what we are shown in this conducted survey is that among the many things that constitute what most people generally consider as pretty, cleanliness is always considered a prime factor. No man should ever hesitate now to try products that not only are not vanity products, but also great solutions for maintaining that great good look. Here are some of our personal favorites,
